RESEARCH

In partnership with academic institutions, we engage in data collection. The research we do focuses on the state of youth wellbeing in urban slums. We use this knowledge to guide how we work and engage in evidence driven advocacy.

ACTION

The core development actions we undertake focus on the development of youth friendly public spaces. All the public spaces we develop are created in direct partnership with youth groups from urban communities. Our core approach towards all the public spaces we develop is based on the action learning philosophy. In the process of developing youth friendly public spaces, the participants we work with will simultaneously develop their confidence and skills to take the lead in creating change.

STORIES

In partnership with multi-media professionals and young documentarists, we develop stories that investigate young people’s perspectives on life in the city. We use these stories to reframe the often narratives of slums.
